Memory Tapes is an alias of Dayne Hawk, his previous band Hail Social stated no longer active since early 2009. In 2009 he released first LP album Seek Magic sold over 1000 copies on pre-release via one shop in London (Rough Trade) and has since sold over 30,000 copies. The good news is.. that his second album due for release in July through Something In Construction (Europe) and Carpark (US). His upcoming album Player Piano claims to have Aphex Twins, The Kinks and Doo Woop as influences. This is a single from the upcoming album called Today is Our Life which i kinda love and i think Player Piano is worth to wait, not forget to mention.. the video is awesome!
