"Working Class Hero"

I've prepared for this trip from middle of july and always excited about it day by day. So when the time is come i was like in a great fookin nerve wreckin situation. I'm so ready, my ticket booked, my concert ticket booked, i'm ready to go for Ian Brown but still... Nervous!
I was a little bit paranoid and prayed a lot so my flight right on time... so i could get to the venue and won't miss a thing, yes the flight was safe but here come another problem: it's Jakarta, it's friday, it's rush hour and it's raining.. Traffic Jam!
But anyway i made it to the concert with some great friends of mine. The concert scheduled at 8 o'clock but turns out the gate opened at 8.30. Then another freakin problem! my ticket! where is it?! my friend got it and he hasn't come yet.. i've tripled the nervous!
i'm waiting in vain but voila.... 9 pm, finally he showed up! we're in and ready for party!

this ticket had tripled my nervous

Me and my friend was checkin Kula Shaker and Ian Brown set list for that nite on www.setlist.fm. Turns out all the list was the same with their previous concert. First line up is Kula Shaker, i wasn't expecting anything from Kula Shaker because the main reason i come that nite is for Ian Brown, but Shite! they're too cool to be missed. The energy from Crispian Mills unbearable. They're playing like 14 songs with govinda as the climax and also covered Joe South and Daniel Johnston's song. Crispian Mills was like Duracell bunny, making unstopable aggresively stage act completed with a very skillful guitar playing, Amazing! At the end, Govinda just gimme this mystical shiver, with a very psychedelic visual and everyone just sing a long and raising their hand and mills as the commandant singing to the ultimate hits ever from Kula Shaker.

sorry for not excpecting u Kula Shaker, but u guys utterly awesome!

Next line up is the one i've been waiting for.. everyone on that show was hoping Ian Brown to play more Stone Roses's songs than his solo project. Me and my friend was moving closer to the stage! Ian Brown's roadies started to prepare and me noticing that all his roadies is old ,yeah they're too old to be roadies i guess, like somebody's granpas :)) but hey Ian Brown is old, eh?
The Show's begin Ian Brown showed up with his yellow training suit, remind me of bruce lee...
shite!!! i was like gonna cry, thinking "here's the maaaan i've been listening to for all these time, he's the frontman of Stone Roses the band i've been hailing for a long time... ". The first song
"i wanna be adore" was drive people crazy as shit! but too bad the sounds not as good as the previous performer Kula Shaker, hey whatever.. i'm just too crazy to complaint about it at that time. Ian Brown was performing more than 10 songs, mostly from his solo and 2 Stone Roses cover and a song "keep what u got" that originally is a duet with Noel Gallagher. This man as we know has a very notable attitude on stage, arrogant bad arse with his "working class hero" t-shirt! some people who came at that nite waving england's flag, then he asked it to be thrown at him... then he trampled down his foot on it for like severals time, we're take it as a meaning he's disregarding his own national flag (later on i found out on his next show in Bali he's saying that "Manchester is not england!"). me waiting for the last 4 songs... and yes so did everybody. As F.E.A.R 's intro started we're drive ourself crazy again, continued with stellify and just like u. We're started to craving another Stone Roses's song again. Then Ian asked "Is there something that u want for me to do? like anything?". Oh well a retoric question it is.. coz he knew what we want, so that's it as the closing everybody just sing a long to Fools Gold.

By the way, both Kula Shaker and Ian Brown also spoken out their astonishment about "pawang hujan". They're amazed because they couldn't do such thing on England.. hahahaha!
great nite indeed!

INTRODUCING "YOUNG ADULT FRICTION"

Introducing my new project "Young Adult Friction" in collaboration with Mikrotoys. the name is taken from song title by The Pains At Being Pure At Heart. We're playing some kind electro riot that might remind u of Crystal Castle, Kap bambino or CSS. In collaboration with Mikrotoys (with their dark 8 bit beat) really completed our music fully. So i guess this collaboration will last for a long term :)
